I'm having trouble with my PS5 controller's Bluetooth connection to my PC. I don't use an external Bluetooth adapter and instead rely on the onboard Bluetooth from my B650 Gaming Plus WiFi motherboard. The problem is that I can only use the controller when it's literally inches away from the case. I usually sit around 7 feet away, but if I'm not right next to it, the connection drops. Is this typical for onboard Bluetooth, or might there be something wrong with my controller or setup?

Just a thought - are you sure those antennas are for Bluetooth? I know some motherboards only come with WiFi antennas and not for Bluetooth, which might be causing the issues you're having. Check to see if the antennas on your B650 board are meant for both.
Not normal at all! I have a tiny Asus USB Bluetooth adapter plugged into my PC, and I can easily connect my PS5 controller from about 3 or 4 meters away. If you can't resolve the issue with the antennas, consider getting one of those USB adapters; they're inexpensive and often a good fix!
It sounds like you've got an issue with your Bluetooth antennas. Make sure they're installed properly because they should definitely help with the range. If they're not connected well, that's likely why you're only getting a few inches of connectivity.
