Do I Need to Upgrade My PC?

I've been told that I might need to upgrade my CPU and motherboard, but my PC still feels fine to me. Here are my specs:

- CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 7600
- GPU: RTX 4070 Super
- Motherboard: TUF Gaming B650-PLUS WIFI
- RAM: 2 x 16GB 5200 DDR5 Corsair Vengeance

It runs most games at high settings on a 1440p 144hz monitor, but occasionally it runs hot in some games and even crashes. I'm looking for some advice on whether an upgrade is really necessary or if there are simpler fixes!

Honestly, it sounds like you don't really need an upgrade. It might help to clean out your fans and replace the thermal paste. That could lower your temps and help with the crashes.

Typically, if your hardware is still being sold as new, it doesn't need upgrading. Just make sure your fans are working properly and that your heatsink is mounted correctly. It can make a significant difference!

Upgrading wouldn't be cost-effective right now. You'd need to invest in high-end components like a new GPU to see any real difference. Instead, check your cooling setup, maybe reinstall Windows, and run a memtest to be sure. Your current parts should be fine!
