Is Upgrading from GTX 1070 to RTX 9060 XT Worth It for Video Editing and Gaming?

I'm considering upgrading my GTX 1070 to an RTX 9060 XT. I do video editing and animation on the side, and I'm also looking for good gaming performance. My setup includes a Ryzen 9 3900X, two 1440p 144Hz monitors, and a XP Pen 2k drawing tablet. I'm hoping to get solid performance without spending a fortune. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Before you make a decision, it's a good idea to check if your editing software performs better with AMD or Nvidia. Some programs have a strong preference, especially for video editing tasks. I've heard that DaVinci Resolve and Blender run better on Nvidia cards, but make sure to do a bit of research on this yourself since I'm not an expert in video editing.

Oh man, good call! I didn't realize DaVinci was mostly optimized for Nvidia. I'll definitely look into that. Thanks!
