I have a PC with only one HDMI port, and I want to be able to connect both my TV and monitor without having to crawl under my desk to switch the cables manually. Is there a device that lets me press a button to switch between the two displays? Most HDMI splitters I've seen seem to go from two outputs to one input, but I'm looking for the opposite setup: one input that can switch between two outputs.

What you actually need is an HDMI switch, not a splitter. A switch lets you choose whether to send the signal to your monitor or TV without unplugging anything.
It’s pretty cool that HDMI is bi-directional. So a 2-to-1 switch will work for what you need. Just make sure it's the right kind!
Just a heads up, check if you have any other ports on your PC like DisplayPort or DVI. They might offer some flexibility too!
You can find a ton of HDMI switches on Amazon. Make sure to look for a 2-in-1 out option. I totally understand the frustration of crawling under your desk to swap cables! You've got the right idea.
