I've just received my new OLED monitor with a resolution of 2560 x 1440 and a refresh rate of 240Hz. I'm not sure what type of cable I need to buy to connect it to my PC for optimal performance. Could anyone recommend the best option? Thanks!

You’ll probably want to go with a DisplayPort cable. It’s the best option for high refresh rates and resolutions. Make sure to check the manual that came with your monitor for any specifics, but DisplayPort should do the trick!

Just a heads up, your monitor supports both DP 1.4a and HDMI 2.1, so you have options! But for gaming, DisplayPort is usually preferred for that high refresh rate.

Normally, DisplayPort is the way to go, but knowing your monitor model and your PC specs helps. If it came with a DisplayPort cable, you should be good!

I have an MSI MAG 273QP QD-OLED X24 paired with an RX 9070 XT and an Intel i5-14600K. I thought I had a DP cable, but I want to make sure it’s powerful enough for what I need.
