What Upgrades Should I Make to My PC?

Hey everyone! I'm just getting started with PC building and really need some advice on upgrades. My current setup includes a GTX 1060 with 3GB VRAM, an Intel i5 7500 processor, a Corsair 550W power supply, and 16GB of DDR4 RAM. I know that upgrading right now isn't the most economical due to high part prices, but I'm considering a CPU or GPU upgrade. Can you suggest any decent options? Or is my whole build too outdated, and should I just save for a new PC with slightly older components?

It seems like your GTX 1060 3GB is the weakest link in your system for gaming. Just a heads up, upgrading your CPU would also likely mean you'd need a new motherboard. The best upgrade options depend on your budget and where you're located, but keep that in mind!

I'm a bit tight on funds, can stretch to about 400 euros. Live in Romania. Also, is it necessary to upgrade the motherboard even if I get an AM4 compatible CPU?
