Is the MSI GeForce RTX 3060 12GB a Good Upgrade from My RX 580?

I'm currently using an old RX 580 8GB alongside a Ryzen 5 3400G. I came across what seems like a solid deal on a used MSI GeForce RTX 3060 12GB for $250. Would this be a worthwhile upgrade? I've seen people suggest the 6700 XT, but that's beyond my budget right now.

You might want to double-check pricing because the RTX 3060 should usually be cheaper than $250. In the U.S., they're typically around $150-200.

I did find a listing for an MSI GeForce RTX 3060 Ventus 3X 12G for just $175, which seems like a better deal!

The RTX 3060 would be a significant upgrade from your current setup! Just keep in mind, if you're gaming at 1920x1080, your CPU might limit the performance a bit. It's worth it, though!

I'm working on a similar upgrade! Planning to get a Ryzen 5 5600X in the future, so I'm also looking for a gradual improve in performance.
