I spilled soda on my laptop—am I in trouble?

I accidentally spilled some soda on my laptop, specifically on the lower part of the keyboard where the ctrl, fn, win, alt, and shift keys are. As soon as it happened, I reacted quickly and tilted my laptop upside down. I removed the keys and cleaned them right away. Thankfully, the laptop seems to be working fine, and I don't see any signs of liquid getting inside. There are small openings on the bottom for the CPU and other components, but they look clear. Is my laptop okay or should I be worried?

Check out this video I found—it covers what to do after a spill. Might help you understand if you need to take more action: https://youtu.be/jNm2g4Tkf3E?is=VhK7XD2M6bSVjChp

Honestly, it's a bit of a waiting game now. Soda can be quite harsh on electronics due to its sugar and acid content. Some laptops have built-in drains that can help route liquids away, or they might have rubber barriers to protect the innards. To be absolutely sure everything's alright, you might need to consider taking it apart to check for any residue or damage.
