I'm expecting a used RX570 GPU to arrive soon, and currently, I'm using a 9070XT in my setup with CachyOS. Since AMD drivers are integrated into the system, can I simply remove the 9070XT and plug in the RX570 without any issues? Will everything work smoothly, or do I need to adjust anything like Mesa or other settings?

It should be a straightforward swap! No extra steps should be necessary. Just a side note, I'm curious why you're downgrading—what's the reason for testing out the RX570?

I'm just checking the used GPU for a friend to see if it performs okay before he decides to keep it. Want to ensure it's running at safe temperatures!

You should be able to make the swap without much hassle. Since you're on CachyOS, it should support the RX570 pretty seamlessly. Just remember that moving a newer GPU into a system with an older distro might cause some driver issues, but your current setup should be fine.
