Hey everyone! I'm thinking about starting my programming journey, and I'd initially decided on JavaScript. However, I'm feeling a bit lost because I'm not sure if I want to focus on front-end or back-end development. My main interest lies in AI and machine learning, and I've heard Python is a better fit for that. Can anyone share some advice on which language I should really dive into?

If you want to make quick money, JavaScript might be your best bet, but for solid computer science knowledge and AI work, definitely choose Python.

If you're serious about computer science, pick Python. It's versatile enough for web development too! I’d steer clear of JavaScript if you can, even though it’s incredibly popular—it can get pretty messy.

Honestly, both languages have their uses, and once you get comfortable with one, the other won't be too hard to pick up since they share some similarities. Personally, I think Python is the way to go, especially for AI and ML—it’s just more useful in that domain.

I definitely recommend going with Python. Most AI and ML developers tend to use it over JavaScript, so you'll find a lot more resources and support tailored to your needs. Plus, check out platforms like Google Colab or Jupyter to help you get started.
