Help! My GeForce 5090 is Acting Up After Driver Update

I recently updated my Nvidia drivers to the new version 595.79. During the installation, my screen went black, which has happened before, but this time it didn't come back. Now, when I reboot, I get no input signal after the BIOS screen.

I was able to access my PC using the motherboard's HDMI output and tried to reinstall the drivers, but I faced the same issues again. After a few reboots, the display came on, but I noticed some lighting issues and weird shader glitches.

I then entered safe mode, disconnected from the internet, used Display Driver Uninstaller (DDU) to remove the drivers, and reinstalled them. The screen came up for a bit, but then it artifacted and froze again. I'm currently trying to roll back to older drivers, but I'd appreciate any suggestions. I'm worried I might have damaged my 5090 just by updating the drivers, especially since I hadn't updated for a while because everything was running fine, but I had to for Battlefield 6.

Your best bet is to revert to the previous driver version you were using. It’s generally a good practice to hold off on updating drivers unless you’re facing specific issues, especially for more complex setups.

I get what you're saying, but I had to update to play BF6. I tried rolling back to version 591.74, but it still gave me issues like mouse stuttering and a complete lock up during the game launch.
