I'm planning to build my first PC with a budget of $2500 CAD. I already have a monitor, and my main goal is to run Cyberpunk 2077 and similar games smoothly. Any advice or recommendations on components would be greatly appreciated!

Think about whether you'll just game or also do some more intensive tasks. A mixture of new and used parts can help save costs. I managed to build my rig for around $2200 with a Ryzen 7 9700x3d and RTX 4080. Just keep in mind AMD GPUs can have driver issues based on personal experience. Also, check out Memory Express; they can be helpful and do price matching.

For a fantastic Cyberpunk experience at 1440p, you might want to check out the 4070 Ti paired with a Ryzen 7800x3d. These components should fit well within your budget and deliver great performance for the latest games.

Prices haven't really changed much lately, so it can be tough to find deals these days.

Are you being serious? Memory prices are not what they used to be!

Here's a solid build you can consider: AMD Ryzen 5 5600, Radeon RX 6800, 32GB of G.SKILL Ripjaws V RAM, and a 1TB Samsung 980 PRO SSD. This setup should handle Cyberpunk 2077 pretty well, and it's within your price range!

Building your own PC is great, but honestly, have you considered prebuilt options? Getting 32GB of RAM alone is quite a slice of your budget. There's a good prebuilt at Best Buy with a Ryzen 7 9700X, 32GB RAM, 2TB SSD, and RX 9070 XT, which costs a bit more but could save you trouble in the long run.

Your part list link isn’t working properly. It just keeps showing my own build!
