Experiencing Lag with RX 7600 – Need Help!

I recently upgraded my system and installed an RX 7600 graphics card, but now I'm facing some serious performance issues. My setup includes a Ryzen 5 5600G, RX 7600, 16GB of RAM with XMP enabled, and a 1TB SSD. Despite trying a stable driver, I'm seeing less than 10 FPS in 1% lows, which I've read is detrimental. I'm experiencing lag and stuttering during gameplay, and occasionally my system crashes. I was told by an AI that the problem might be my SSD not reading quickly enough, with fluctuating active time and high response times. Is this a valid concern?

Have you considered disabling the integrated GPU from your motherboard settings? That can sometimes help force the system to utilize your dedicated graphics card more effectively.

It’s unlikely that your SSD is causing the lag. What’s really important is your power supply and how your monitor is connected. Make sure your display is plugged directly into the GPU and not the motherboard. Also, Corsair's CX 650W should handle things fine, but double-check the connections just to be safe.

Also, have you tried using DDU (Display Driver Uninstaller) to completely remove old graphics drivers before a fresh install of the new ones? This can sometimes clear up performance issues.

Performance can vary based on the game and your settings. Since you're playing titles like Wuthering Waves and League of Legends, it’s worth checking if the RX 7600 is properly recognized in your game settings. Sometimes games default to an integrated GPU if it’s not explicitly set up.
