I'm in the market for a new graphics card primarily for gaming and I'm torn between the 3080 Ti and the 6900 XT. The 3080 Ti is priced at $375, while the 6900 XT is a bit cheaper at $350. I could use some advice on which one I should choose!

It really depends on what you need more: extra VRAM or performance. If you’re playing at higher resolutions, the 6900 XT might be a better choice due to its capabilities.
I’d recommend the 3080 Ti. It offers a better upscaling technology and generally performs better with ray tracing. The 6900 XT does have extra VRAM, but I think 12GB is sufficient for these cards. Plus, AMD cards tend to have better Linux support if that's something you care about.
Honestly, I’d just go with the 3080 Ti. Nvidia cards handle textures differently, and while the 3080 Ti has less VRAM, it still manages to perform well in games. Just keep in mind that it does draw a lot of power, so make sure your setup can handle it.
If you’re looking for value, the 6900 XT is amazing at higher resolutions. Also, consider the model – if you can find an EVGA 3080 Ti, it’s usually a solid pick due to their reliability.
I’d always choose Nvidia, so I’m leaning towards the 3080 Ti. They just have a better track record overall.
