Need Feedback on My Gaming and Photo Editing PC Build

I'm in the process of building my first PC and could really use some advice on my parts list. I'm comfortable with software but not so much with hardware, so this is a bit confusing for me. Here's what I'm looking to build:

- My main focus is on gaming, especially open world RPGs, and I do some photo editing for work using Lightroom and Photoshop. I prefer 1440p resolution and store most of my photos externally.
- I'm aiming for 32GB of RAM and 2TB of storage since my laptop experience has shown me that's what I need.
- I plan to use Windows and have a budget between $1,400 and $1,600, with a slight flexibility up to about $1,800 if necessary. I'm also interested in taking advantage of any bundle deals at Microcenter for RAM, CPU, and motherboard to save some cash.

Here's my current parts list:

- **CPU**: AMD Ryzen 7 9700X 3.8 GHz 8-Core Processor - $299.33
- **CPU Cooler**: Thermalright Phantom Spirit 120 SE 66.17 CFM - $32.31
- **Motherboard**: Gigabyte B650 GAMING X AX V2 - $171.95
- **Memory**: G.Skill Flare X5 32 GB (2 x 16 GB) DDR5-6000 - $379.99
- **Storage**: Crucial T500 2 TB NVMe SSD - $359.99
- **Case**: NZXT H5 Flow (2024) - $59.99
- **Power Supply**: MSI MAG A850GL 850 W - $109.99
- **Case Fan**: Corsair RS120 ARGB 3-Pack - $44.99
- **GPU**: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5060 Prime Triple Fan 8GB GDDR7 PCIe 5.0 (added later)

Total Cost: $1458.54

I'd really appreciate any insights or recommendations on this build!

Looks like a solid build, but you might want to double-check that GPU! You definitely need a dedicated GPU for the types of games you're aiming to play. The RTX 5060 should serve you well for RPGs at 1440p, but just ensure it's available and fits your budget once you finalize the list.

Make sure to verify sales at Microcenter for those bundles! They can really help you save a good chunk. Also, good call on the RAM and storage since those will benefit both your gaming and photo editing needs.

I'd suggest considering a B850 motherboard instead of the B650. Often it's either priced similarly or even cheaper, and it's better for future-proofing. Plus, it won’t hurt to have that slight edge as new tech comes out.
