I'm curious if it's possible to order a Barco Clickshare dongle directly without going through our reseller. Also, once I have the dongle, is it just plug-and-play, or will I need to do some setup to pair it with the base unit?

Honestly, I find these a bit frustrating. It’s always a gamble if users will actually wait for it to work. They disconnect and reconnect constantly, which drives me nuts. I’ve had better luck just showing users how to connect directly to the Teams room instead.
Yes, you can order the dongles separately! To pair them, just plug it into the base unit and wait for the indicator to fill. It updates the firmware and establishes the connection. If you want more details, check out Barco's knowledge base articles for pairing and compatibility info!
Appreciate the details! I'll make sure to check out those articles.
You definitely need to pair the dongle with the base unit. Just plug it in and give it a moment until the pairing is complete. It should automatically connect!
Thanks for clarifying! I'm worried because I don't have admin access to our unit and can't log in. If I can just plug it in and it pairs automatically, that would be perfect!

That's a good idea! Teaching them to project straight to the Teams device will definitely cut down on confusion.
