How Can I Optimize Cooling for My Custom PC Build?

I'm working on a big PC build set for later this year, and I need some help with the cooling setup. Here's what I'm planning to use for the components: The CPU is an AMD Ryzen 7 9800x3D, paired with a Noctua DH-D15 G2 cooler. The motherboard is an MSI Mag X870E Tomahawk Wifi, and I'm including 32 GB of Corsair Vengeance DDR5 RAM running at 6000 MHz. For storage, I've got two 2TB Crucial P310 NVMe drives alongside a 4TB Seagate BarraCuda HDD. The graphics card will be an Asus ROG Astral OC GeForce RTX 5080, and everything will fit inside a Corsair Frame 4000D RS ATX Mid Tower case, powered by a be quiet! Power Zone 1200W Platinum supply. My main question is about the ideal fan layout to keep everything cool and quiet. How many fans should I have, and what positions should they be in? Also, I'd like to minimize dust intake, and I'm not interested in AIO or water-cooling solutions. I'd appreciate a straightforward explanation, especially since I have experience in HVAC and want my build to last!

The Corsair Frame 4000D comes with three intake fans, which is a good start. I recommend adding one exhaust fan at the rear. Generally, you'll want more fans for intake compared to exhaust to achieve positive pressure, which helps keep dust from building up inside. If you're looking for a great exhaust fan, the Noctua NF-S12A PWM is nearly silent and highly rated. You can find it here: [Noctua NF-S12A](https://pcpartpicker.com/product/CKFXsY/noctua-nf-s12a-pwm-chromaxblackswap-633-cfm-120mm-fan-nf-s12a-pwm-chromaxblackswap).

I believe the case has the three included RS120 fans, so do you think replacing them with something like Noctua or T30s would be better for intake?

To optimize airflow, aim for your setup to have slightly more intake than exhaust. Position your fans to create a flow pattern that moves air from bottom to top and front to back. If you're using three fans in the front, consider having two on the rear and/or top. This will not only help with cooling but also maintain a clean interior if you use dust filters on the intake fans.

I’m confused about the wasted money comment. I'm going with the Astral due to having four fans already. Plus, I'm getting another 2TB NVMe for my growing mod collection. Can you clarify how many fans I should actually install?
