I've spent hours trying to install Nvidia drivers on my KDE Neon setup but it's been a nightmare! Initially, I tried different methods, even got some help from an AI, but XOrg ended up crashing. After reinstalling everything, my Intel iGPU isn't functioning, and now my drive is stuck in read-only mode. I feel like Nvidia is working against me, and I'm really looking for some guidance to not get frustrated by this. I love using KDE Neon but it's getting complicated. Anyone have suggestions that might help?

When it comes to Nvidia, you really should be using the proprietary drivers instead of open-source options. The proprietary ones tend to perform better overall. I’m running Kubuntu with Nvidia and aside from a few minor glitches with Wayland, it’s pretty stable for me.

Maybe I should give Kubuntu a shot then? Sounds like it might work better for my setup.
