How do I download drivers when I’m stuck at the Windows lock screen?

I just built a new PC and I'm trying to download my WiFi drivers. However, when I reach the lock screen, it says, "Something happened and your PIN isn't available. Click to set up your PIN again." When I click the button, it then tells me I need to connect to WiFi, which I can't do without those drivers. What can I do to get past this?

Check if your PC has an Ethernet port. If it does, just plug it into the router. If not, I recommend picking up a cheap USB Wi-Fi dongle. They’re usually pretty effective and don’t need much setup.

If you have the SSDs from your old PC, did you transfer them directly? A fresh Windows install typically won't require a PIN until after the initial setup, so that might be causing the issue.

Yeah, I did transfer the SSDs from my old setup.

You can just connect an Ethernet cable directly to your router. That way, you can access the internet and download the necessary drivers without needing the WiFi setup.
