I'm dealing with a user who recently changed their password, and since then, they haven't been able to access Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD). The user has the necessary M365 license and belongs to the appropriate AVD group with the right permissions. However, whenever they try to log in, they encounter this error:
An authentication error has occurred.
The logon attempt failed
Remote computer: {hostname}
Error code: 0x0
Extended error code: 0x0
Interestingly, other users can log in just fine. I've also noticed that this user has issues connecting to Entra. I've checked conditional access policies, ran `dsregcmd /leave` and rebooted, ensured that updates are applied, and confirmed the problematic KB5074109 isn't installed. Additionally, I've removed registry keys under HKLM:SOFTWAREMicrosoftEnrollments, adjusted the host pool settings for targeting Entra, and even tried creating a new user with the same access. Yet, the problem persists. Any ideas or troubleshooting steps?
I've attached some logs for further context:
Error Code: -2145833241

Unknown error code: 0x80192ee7
Make sure to enable flagging for diagnostics when reproducing the error within 20 minutes.

Have you tried logging in through the web interface? Sometimes switching from the RDP app to the web can help. If they are using the Windows app, make sure it's the latest version by reinstalling it or resetting it if issues continue.
Is your AVD host connected to Active Directory or is it Entra ID? If it's connected to AD, there might be an issue with password synchronization. Ensure the password is updated across both systems.
