Looking for Power-Efficient AM5 CPUs That Can Boost Performance When Needed

I'm in search of an AM5 CPU that balances power efficiency with the ability to ramp up performance when required. My PC is often running various tasks, even when I'm not using it directly. For the most part, I spend about 75% of my time doing lighter activities like browsing multiple web pages, streaming 4K videos, using MS Office, and running personal software like Plex. I also dabble in video and photo editing, which occupies about 15% of my usage, and engage in gaming about 10% of the time, primarily CPU-intensive games like Factorio. Since video/photo editing is more of a hobby, I don't want to sacrifice power efficiency for raw performance. From what I've gathered, a mid to high-end Ryzen CPU in Eco or PBO mode might offer better efficiency than a dedicated 'efficient CPU.' The following models are on my radar: 9700X, 9600X, 7900, 7800X3D, 7700, and 7600. Am I missing any great options or should I steer clear of any on this list?

I'd recommend going with the 9700X. It's quite power-efficient most of the time, and you can activate the 105W mode to unleash more power when you need it. It's a solid all-rounder that fits your needs nicely.

Thanks! So, is that 105W mode something I can toggle manually based on my needs, or does it kick in automatically when required?
