Hey everyone! I'm in the process of building my new gaming desktop and came across a Samsung MZVL81T0HDLB-00BLL 1TB SSD with firmware 9l2qkxd7 being sold for 75 euros. I'm curious if this is a legitimate Gen 4 SSD or if it's potentially a fake. I can't seem to find much information about it online, aside from a benchmarking site. Any insights on whether this SSD is a good purchase would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

This SSD should be a PM9A1, which is essentially an OEM version of the 980 PRO. Just keep in mind that the model name isn't enough to determine if it's fake or not, so do your homework before purchasing.

Actually, it's labeled a PM9C1a. Does that mean it's an OEM from a prebuilt system?

Have you tried checking what Samsung Magician says about it? That tool can provide a lot of info on the drive's status and authenticity.

I haven't bought it yet; I just got some logs from CrystalInfo from the seller.
