I'm currently using an i5 7400 paired with a B250m ds3h motherboard, which I built around 6-7 years ago. I've already upgraded to 16GB of 3200MHz RAM and have a GTX 1660 Super graphics card. Now, I'm considering upgrading to an AM4 processor, probably the Ryzen 5 5500 or 5600. I could really use some guidance on whether I should invest a significant amount into this upgrade or keep it more budget-friendly. My setup is used for my live streaming business, gaming, and video editing.

You can probably score some solid deals on used AM4 CPUs bundled with a decent B550 motherboard. I use a Ryzen 5 5600, and it works really well with Premiere Pro for most tasks. Just a heads-up, though, if you're into exporting in 4K, it might struggle a bit, but that doesn't seem to be your case.
Nope, not exporting in 4K... Do you have any suggestions on where to find those used deals?
