I accidentally spilled water on my laptop last night. I panicked and just closed it, then went to sleep. Later, around 4 PM, I opened it, and it took me to the BIOS setup utility. I turned it off and placed it in a V shape to let it dry. Now I'm unsure what to do next. I think the water has dried, but is there any way to fix it myself or should I consider other options?

You'll need to open the back of your laptop and disconnect the battery first. This is important to prevent any further damage. If you're not sure how to do this on your HP 15s-du3xxx, check your model online for a guide or tutorial, as it can vary a bit from model to model.
I’m really not comfortable opening it up myself. Is there a way to take it to a shop without risking more damage?
