What are the best ways to dry out a Samsung phone’s USB port?

Hey everyone! I accidentally got my Samsung phone pretty wet because it was raining while it was in my pocket. Now, when I try to charge it, I get a warning that moisture has been detected in the USB port. I've already tried a bunch of things like tapping, shaking, putting it in rice, and cleaning it with a paper towel and a toothpick. I've even cleared the USB cache in the settings. Unfortunately, none of that worked. I don't have an AC or a humidifier. What else can I do to dry it out? Thanks for any help!

If that moisture warning keeps popping up even after it seems dry, you might want to try these steps:
1. Restart your phone to reset the warning.
2. Clear the USB Cache by going into Settings > Apps > Sort by system apps > Android System > Storage, then clear the cache and data.
3. Make sure there’s no lint or dust in the port, as that can trigger false alerts. A small brush or toothpick can help.
4. If you're in a hurry to charge, use a wireless charger until things clear up.
5. Booting in Safe Mode can help rule out any app-related issues too!

Thanks for these tips! I’ll definitely try cleaning it with a brush first.

If you have a hairdryer, using it on a low setting can also help. But honestly, sometimes you just have to wait it out a bit. I had a similar issue with my Samsung A55, and it took a couple of days to fully dry.

I waited about three hours after using the hairdryer, and it finally charged without any warnings!

One simple trick you can try is placing your phone flat on a warm bathroom floor for a couple of hours. The heat from the bathroom can help evaporate the moisture effectively!

I’ll give that a shot!
