How can I transfer photos from my old Nokia phone to my laptop?

Hey everyone! I've been taking some pictures on my old Nokia phone, which is around 16 years old and very beaten up. I usually transfer the photos to my old Windows laptop, which my dad used before me, but it's super slow and not reliable. I tried using my newer Dell laptop, but the phone didn't show up when I connected it with the same cable. I'm looking for a better way to get my photos onto my laptop or if I'm missing something. Any suggestions? Thanks!

What about using a memory card? If your old phone has one, you could save your photos to the card and then transfer them directly to your computer.

Have you tried searching for the drivers that match your Nokia model and installing them on your Dell? That might solve the connection issue!

Thanks for the tip! I'm going to try that. In the meantime, a friend suggested I could upload the pics to a website and then download them. Might give that a shot too!

Why are you using such an old phone for photos? Seems like it could be a bit frustrating!

Haha, you’re not wrong! Just experimenting with some photography methods. Surprisingly, the photos turned out pretty neat! Here’s one I took.
