I've run into a strange problem with my iPhone 13 Pro Max. Last night, I accidentally put it under my pillow while I was half-asleep, and it wasn't plugged in at the time. When I woke up, the screen started flickering, but I didn't think much of it since it cleared up quickly. A few hours later, the flickering returned, this time in horizontal sections. I rebooted the phone twice, but the issue persisted. Eventually, it just wouldn't turn back on, although I can still hear the notifications and the vibrations work. The flashlight also turns on, but the screen remains black. I've always taken good care of my phone, and it's never been dropped or exposed to water. I contacted support, but they just told me to bring it in. Can anyone help me figure out what might be wrong? The earliest appointment I could get is tomorrow.

It sounds like your OLED display might be acting up, which usually means it needs to be replaced. If you're out of warranty, it can be pretty costly—around $300 or more for a new screen. It's frustrating, especially since it seems like you've cared for it well!

Is there any chance it could just be a loose connector? I mean, if the phone's always been in good shape, that might be an easy fix.
