I have an iPhone 16 Pro Max and I've got AppleCare for it, which will expire this December. Unfortunately, my phone got run over by a car, and it's completely broken, but I still have the remains. I've heard that AppleCare might replace the whole device if it's totally destroyed. Can anyone share their experiences or knowledge about this?

It’s best to contact them directly and ask about your specific situation. From what I've heard, they usually replace damaged devices if it's beyond repair.

For major damage, they'll typically swap it out for a refurbished unit. They only really repair things like the screen or battery, not replace whole devices unless it's a complete loss.

AppleCare Plus covers damage to Pro phones, including replacements for accidents. Regular AppleCare doesn't offer that, so make sure you know what type you have.
