Hey all! I'm gearing up to build my very first PC, and I'm hoping to create a setup that can handle high-quality gaming and streaming without any lag. Here's what I'm planning:
- **Case:** HYTE Y70
- **Case fans:** 6x120mm, 1x140mm (Corsair ICUE Link QX120 and QX140)
- **Processor:** Intel core i9-14900KF
- **Cooling:** iBUYPOWER AW4 360mm liquid cooler
- **Memory:** 96GB (48GB x2) DDR5-6000MHz
- **Video Card:** NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 Ti - 16GB GDDR7 (DLSS 4.0)
- **Motherboard:** MSI PRO Z790-P WiFi 6E
- **Storage:** 8TB WD Black SN850x
I'm particularly interested in playing games like GTA V and the new VII when it's eventually released, as well as titles like Cyberpunk. Does this list look solid to you, or should I make any changes? Money isn't an issue for me right now.

I appreciate your enthusiasm, but I think you should definitely rethink the i9-14900KF. It's extremely hot and not the best value right now. CPUs like the AMD 9950X series could offer more efficiency and longevity for gaming and streaming. Plus, I don't quite understand the choice of case fans compared to your cooler—wouldn't a Corsair AIO better match the HYTE Y70 aesthetically and functionally?
Honestly, 96GB of RAM is overkill for gaming. Most users get by with 16GB or 32GB. Since you’re not limited by budget, you might want to consider prioritizing a more powerful GPU like the 5080 or 9070XT instead of spending on extra RAM. Also, just a heads-up about your processor choice; it’s not the best value out there, maybe look into AMD options for a cooler and more efficient build.
The parts you selected are definitely powerful, but you might be better off with a GPU that offers a good balance between price and performance, like the 5070 Ti. And about RAM, unless you’re doing heavy video editing, 32GB should be plenty for gaming. Let’s face it, 8TB of storage is awesome, but it’s also pretty extravagant for gaming alone!
