I'm in the process of building my first desktop PC and I'm feeling a bit overwhelmed, especially since the total cost is climbing higher than I anticipated—aiming for around $3,000 to $3,500. I'll mainly use it for gaming, specifically titles like Cyberpunk, Hogwarts Legacy, Fallout, Days Gone, and The Witcher. Currently, I've been using a laptop with an 11th Gen Intel Core i7-11370H, 16GB of RAM, and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 Ti GPU, but the performance hasn't been great at low settings. I'm also undecided between going for an AMD Ryzen or sticking with Intel, and I've put together builds for both options. Any advice would be greatly appreciated! Here's a link to a budget-friendly build I found: [Budget AMD Build](https://nz.pcpartpicker.com/list/hjKNQy). It features a solid CPU, a decent cooler, lower latency RAM, and a powerful GPU—all at a good price point. Plus, you can just put Windows on a USB stick to save a few bucks. Hope this helps!
Have you considered looking into pre-built systems? Prices for parts, especially RAM, have been fluctuating a lot lately. I noticed that some pre-builts are more cost-effective since suppliers got their RAM before recent price hikes. It's worth a thought if you're feeling pressured with the pricing.
That's a great point! Maybe I should explore that route for now, especially if it's cheaper.
I took a look at your builds and made some adjustments to help you save some cash while improving your performance. Check this out: [My Adjusted Build](https://nz.pcpartpicker.com/list/jgNBbp). I brought the cost down to $3,100 but kept the quality up!
Oh wow, thanks a lot! I'm still getting the hang of this whole PC building thing, so your input is super helpful!

Awesome, looks like a nice setup! I'll definitely consider this one.
