I'm considering whether to buy the ASUS Dual 9060XT graphics card in the 16GB version for $400 or the 8GB version for $305. I want to know which one would be a better investment in the long run, particularly for future gaming. Thanks for your help!

If your budget allows for it, I'd definitely recommend going for the 16GB version. While you might not need that extra VRAM for the games you're playing now, future titles could really benefit from it. Having that extra memory could extend the life of your GPU, especially with how quickly gaming graphics are evolving. Spending $100 more now might save you from needing an upgrade sooner later on.

Hands down, go with the 16GB version! Many upcoming games will likely require more memory, and it's better to be prepared. Plus, considering that next-gen consoles may have as much as 30GB, having less than the current top-end, like the PS5, doesn't feel like a great choice.

If you're only gaming at 1080p, the 8GB could work for you, but honestly, I wouldn't recommend getting an 8GB card in today’s market. I used to stick with 8GB but eventually upgraded to 12GB and now have 16GB. Future-proofing is crucial, and with the way games are going, the 16GB will serve you much better.
