My SSD Disappeared After a Crash—What Can I Do?

I've had my SSD for about a year, and while I was playing a game, my screen froze and I got an error message saying "your Windows ran into a problem and needs to restart" with code 0x154. I restarted my PC, but now my SSD doesn't show up at all—neither in the BIOS nor in Windows. When it's plugged in, the red light shows it's getting power, but it's still not being recognized. Does anyone know how I can fix this?

Have you checked if it's connected via SATA? Sometimes the data cables can go bad. Try using different power and data cables. Also, consider connecting it to a different SATA port on the motherboard—I've seen that help before.

If you've already swapped out the cables and still no luck, it might be worth checking the SSD on another computer if you can. This will help you figure out if it's the SSD itself that's causing the issue or something with your setup.
