I've been experiencing frustrating delays in notifications on my 17 Pro since updating to iOS 26.4. It's now taking about 40 to 60 seconds for notifications to come through from all my apps, including the Ring doorbell. I don't have low power mode on, background app refresh is enabled for all apps, and adaptive power mode is turned off. I've also disabled Apple intelligence, so there's no notification summary feature active.
This is a major issue for me as I keep missing packages, and my other phone, an iPhone SE 3, receives notifications almost instantly when the Ring doorbell is activated. It just feels like a downgrade from my previous 14 Pro Max. I've been trying to resolve this for the past two months without much luck. What can I do to fix this?

Does this notification delay happen only on Wi-Fi, or does it also occur on mobile data? Knowing this could help identify the issue.
I get how frustrating that can be! Have you tried resetting your network settings? It can help resolve some notification issues. If that doesn't work, consider resetting all settings on the phone to see if that clears up the delays.
Just checking, do you use a VPN or any network filtering apps at all? Sometimes even if they seem off, they can still affect notifications.
