I'm struggling with a software issue across three workstations where we create and compile videos to a UNC path. Everything was running perfectly for years until we upgraded to a newer version three weeks ago. Now, after about 30-40 minutes of processing, the software throws a 'disk full' error, despite having almost 1 TB of space available. I'm frustrated because the workaround involves saving locally to the C: drive and then moving files to the UNC path, which requires changing software settings back and forth. Interestingly, when I try a different UNC path, it works fine, but that path belongs to a different department and isn't a viable long-term solution. I'm really at my wit's end here!

Have you thought about reaching out to the vendor for support? Alternatively, you could consider downgrading to the previous version if that’s an option.
The 30-40 minute timing could be a key indicator. Often these errors arise from a buffer or temporary cache filling up and crashing the write process. Check if there’s a disk quota on that specific share, which might be limiting the write despite available space.
I talked to the NAS team but they’re just giving me the runaround. It feels like no one wants to help, and I keep getting told it’s a workstation issue. Their response basically claims everything is fine on their end, which is frustrating. This path worked perfectly well before—why would it suddenly fail?
