Laptop Fans Running at Full Speed After Update

I'm having a problem with my laptop where the fans are stuck running at full speed after I installed the KB5086672 update. This wasn't an issue before. My CPU usage is stable (around 6-11%), RAM is at 55%, disk usage is 1%, and GPU is at 9%. The fans usually ramp up when I'm running demanding games, but now they're running full throttle even when I'm not doing anything. I'm using an MSI Katana GF66 11UE with OS version 10.0.26200 (Build 26200) and BIOS version 3.3. I tried rolling back to KB5079473, but the issue is still happening, so it seems like my laptop might just be at the end of its life.

Did you check the CPU temperature? Sometimes high fan speeds can be a result of overheating.

Yes, according to SpeedFan, my CPU temp is around 50°C, so it seems fine.

Have you considered uninstalling the update? That could help if the new version is causing the fan issue.

Since you've rolled back to KB5079473 and the problem remains, it might be a sign that your laptop is reaching its end of life rather than being directly linked to the update.
