I'm a teenager trying to build a PC right now, but the prices are incredibly high. My budget is £750, but my current build is over £150 above that. Do I need to consider downgrading some parts?

You might want to leave peripherals out of your budget. Most people do! This would drop your total down, making it more feasible to get a decent PC without going way over the budget.
Most people don't include them since they might reuse what they already have.
Honestly, prebuilt PCs can be cheaper than building your own these days. It's worth looking into, especially if you're on a tight budget.
Check out the second-hand market! Even if I have the budget for new parts, I usually go for used stuff. Plenty of people upgrade, so there are great deals to be had.
So should I buy a used PC or just used parts?
These days, going for used parts is really your best bet. The prices for new components are all over the place, so consider picking up a decent second-hand GPU or CPU when you can. Just keep an eye out for sales!
It's definitely a tough time to build a PC. If you're focusing on older setups, you can find solid deals. I bought a gaming PC that wouldn't boot for just £60; after fixing it up, I can probably sell it for around £250! Don't underestimate older parts—1080p gaming is still totally doable with them.
Yeah, I'm looking to game at 1080p too, so that's good to hear.

I always include peripherals in my budget because I need them to actually use the PC.
