I recently installed HWInfo64 and saw my GPU temperatures fluctuating between 60 and 70 degrees Celsius during gaming sessions. Can anyone provide insight on what the average or safe temperature range is for a 5080 running at full load in 4K resolution?

At 4K, you're likely pushing your GPU hard. If you're playing a game that isn't too CPU-heavy, your GPU will be the bottleneck anyway. While I play at 1440p and hit the 100% load, I see my temps in the high 60s. When I switch to 4K, my frame rates drop, but my temps stay stable in that 60-70 range, which means you’re doing great. As long as you’re not seeing high 70s to low 80s, you’re in the clear.
Your temps of 60-70°C are actually excellent! I usually stay around 70-74°C when my GPU is maxed out at 4K. Anything below 75°C is perfectly fine for long gaming sessions. If you're concerned, consider undervolting your card.
You’re in a good range! My GPU also sits between 60 and 70 degrees when I'm gaming. Just keep an eye on things; if it goes above 90 degrees, then it's time to start worrying. What model are you using? Most should have software for managing fan speeds.
Those temps are perfectly normal for a 5080, especially under load. At 100% usage, I'm usually hitting around 70-75°C after gaming for a while. Nvidia's recent GPUs are built with great cooling solutions, so unless you've got a really old model, you shouldn't have any worries. If your GPU is older, just check if the thermal paste needs reapplying, that's often the main culprit for higher temps.
60-70°C is ideal; you're golden! Anything under 80°C means you shouldn't be throttling. You could technically go over 80°C and still be fine, but it’s not the best for performance. Just keep an eye on how hot it gets.
