I'm having a strange problem with my laptop battery. It drains about 5% every minute, and when it reaches around 90%, the screen just goes black, without any warning. It doesn't shut down completely because nothing works—not even ctrl + alt + delete. The only way to get it to respond is to plug it back into the charger. I've already updated the BIOS, installed the latest version of Windows 11, and checked for needed driver updates, but nothing seems to fix the issue. My laptop model is HP 15-da2367ne, and I recently upgraded the hard drive to an SSD. Has anyone else experienced this?

It sounds like your laptop battery is degrading. Batteries naturally lose capacity over time, especially in older machines. If you're experiencing rapid drain like this, it’s likely time to replace the battery.
The shutoff at around 90% suggests there's an issue with the battery pack itself. It may be misreading the charge level. A battery replacement should resolve this problem.
Your laptop is from 2017, so the battery could be near the end of its lifespan. When it shows 90%, it might actually be at 0% capacity. Replacing the battery could restore proper functionality!
