I'm trying to decide between the Gigabyte B450M GAMING and the Asus PRIME B450M-A II for my budget build featuring an R5 2400G, with plans to add a GPU later (probably an RX6600). I've noticed they are similarly priced, but the biggest difference appears to be the number of RAM slots—2 vs 4. For those with more expertise, could you help me figure out which motherboard is the better choice?

I'd go for the Gigabyte one. The Asus PRIME is generally seen as a budget option, while the Gigabyte B450M GAMING is one of their higher-end models, offering better features overall.

Did you even compare the two? The Gigabyte board isn’t really that great compared to others.
