I'm currently using a Ryzen 5500 alongside an RX 7600, and I have a budget of 1000 euros. I'm debating whether to upgrade to the Ryzen 5800X and call it a day, or if I should consider other options. I want to avoid moving away from the AM4 socket due to RAM prices, and I'm hoping not to upgrade my system again for a while. Any advice would be appreciated! Here are my current specs: Ryzen 5500, Radeon RX 7600 (8GB), 32GB DDR4 RAM, and a Seasonic Core 750W PSU. I'm still fairly new to building PCs, so thanks in advance for your tips!

Look into the pricing for the 5700X and 5800XT, especially if you update your motherboard's BIOS. You should also consider getting a better cooler if you're on the stock one. It might be worth it!
I have a 5800X paired with a 6900XT, and it runs perfectly at 1440p without any issues. You should see a noticeable boost in performance with the 5800X!
Thanks for the reassurance! What kind of games do you usually play with that setup?
The Ryzen 5800X is a solid choice and should work great for you. With a 1000 euro budget, though, you might want to consider upgrading your GPU as well. What games do you enjoy playing the most?

Gotcha! I found out that the price difference between the 5700X and 5800X is only about 20 euros. Plus, I found a cooler that, combined with the 5800X, would total around 250 euros. Is there a significant performance gap between the two?
