Tips for Upgrading My CPU for Better Gaming Performance

Hey everyone! I'm currently using an RTX 3060 Ti paired with an i5-12400F and 32GB of DDR4 RAM. Lately, I've been noticing that my FPS in games like CS2 isn't as high as I'd like it to be. I'm considering upgrading my CPU but I'm not very knowledgeable about PC components. I would really appreciate any advice on what CPU I should be looking at for an upgrade. If you need more info about my setup, just let me know!

Honestly, if you're playing CS2, I'd recommend getting the best AM5 X3D CPU that fits within your budget and pairing it with 32GB of DDR5 RAM at 6000 MT/s. I recently got the 9850X3D bundle from Micro Center for $750, and it made a huge difference!

First, it’s important to know your budget and if you have access to a local Micro Center. If you're sticking with your current motherboard, a good option could be upgrading to an Intel i5-14600K after updating your BIOS. Just make sure to grab a better CPU cooler if you’re only using the stock one!
