I'm planning to upgrade from my 5600 XT and have some options. I can get a 3070 for $250, a used 4070 for $600, or a new 5060 Ti for $565, which has 8GB of memory. Just to clarify, the prices I'm quoting are in Canadian dollars. That means the 3070 is about CAD 180, the 4070 is roughly CAD 430, and the 5060 Ti is around CAD 400. What do you all think?

If you're considering performance, I’d lean towards the 4070 for its future-proofing, but only if you can snag it at a better price. For now, the 3070 looks like the safest bet.
True, but make sure you check additional costs for power requirements too!
Honestly, the 4070 for $600 is overpriced. You could find a better deal on a 4070 Super for about $500, especially with a warranty. The 3070 at $250 seems decent compared to the others.
That's a solid point! Getting a better deal on a warranty-backed card is a smart move.
Yeah, I’ve seen some open box 4070 Supers going for less! It's a no-brainer.
The 5060 Ti isn’t a bad option at $400 CAD; it packs decent performance for 8GB. But if you can find a 3070 for even less, I’d say go for it.
Right? The 3070 does perform better generally, especially if you are gaming at higher settings.
Thanks for the feedback! I’m really swaying towards the 3070 now.

Absolutely! The 3070 is a great value if you don't want to break the bank.
