How to Manage Google Storage to Keep My Email Active?

I'm in a bit of a jam! Google is warning me that I won't be able to receive emails anymore if I don't free up some storage space by April 12th. Most of my storage appears to be taken up by Google Photos, but despite my efforts to delete photos, the storage bar doesn't seem to decrease. I really need my email to keep working and can't afford any interruptions. Any advice on how to resolve this quickly?

Yeah, filtering your emails for those with attachments can help clear out some space quickly. I deleted a bunch of old emails and that made a noticeable difference. Just remember to empty the trash after!

Absolutely, don't forget to delete photos and empty that trash! And honestly, if you're in a pinch, consider paying for additional storage for a month. It's just $2 and gives you time to clean everything up without losing access to your emails.

I hear you! I had this issue too. After deleting some emails, I noticed that my usage didn't go down as much as I expected. Make sure you've completely removed everything and checked the spam folder too! Sometimes just clearing out all the corners can help.

If you've deleted plenty and it's still not decreasing, it's possible some older files are still hanging around, especially if you use Google Drive. Check for saved versions that can take up more room than you expect. Paying for storage is a viable option too if it comes down to it.

Have you tried emptying your trash bin? A lot of people forget that deleted items stay there for 30 days and still count against your storage. Plus, make sure you're checking for any large attachments in your emails that you can delete, those can take up a lot of space too.
