I'm considering upgrading my GPU and need help deciding between the 9070 XT and the 9060 XT. My goal is to play AAA titles at 1440p with high refresh rates, maximizing the potential of my monitor. I want to balance Ray Tracing and FSR, especially since I'm hoping to be ready for GTA6 when it's released. The 9060 XT is priced at $350, while the 9070 XT is around $700 and boasts double the performance. My setup includes a 165Hz 2K monitor, a 9600X processor, 32GB of DDR5 at 6000MHz, an Aorus Elite B850 motherboard, and a 750W Corsair PSU. Previously, I was using a 3060 at 1080p. I've seen various reviews online, and it seems the 9070 XT offers better value. I just don't want to end up regretting my decision. Any advice?

Consider saving a bit more for the 9070 XT. Prices fluctuate a lot in the GPU market, and you don’t want to end up regretting not going for the higher performance option now. No one wants to upgrade early!

Honestly, the 9070 XT will serve you well. I've moved from a 4090 to the 9070 XT and it’s held up beautifully at 1440p. If it can keep me happy after that, you’ll be more than satisfied!

If budget allows, the 9070 XT is a smart pick. It will ensure that you get the most out of your 165Hz monitor and handle the latest games with ease. You won't regret spending a bit more for the better card!

You might also want to consider the regular 9070. It offers solid performance without breaking the bank. Just make sure if you go for the 9060 XT, you grab the 16GB version, as the 8GB isn't a great choice for future games.

Yeah, the 8GB version isn’t worth it; it’ll limit your gaming in just a year or two.

If you're aiming for 1440p gaming at high refresh rates, definitely go for the 9070 XT. It’s designed for future-proofing and will give you the performance you need without compromising. You're investing in your gaming experience here!
