I'm having an issue with my i9-13900HX processor reaching 96 degrees Celsius while playing War Thunder on my laptop. My RTX 4080 seems fine at 65 degrees, so I'm not sure if it's a cooling issue with the laptop. Any advice on how to manage this?

Just a heads up, while laptops do get hotter than desktops, if yours is constantly hitting dangerous levels and throttling, that's a red flag. You might wanna keep an eye on it!

It's actually pretty common for high-end laptop CPUs to run hot, but hitting those temps frequently isn't great. If you're thermal throttling, that could lead to performance drops. Try limiting your FPS to around 60-120. You generally don't need super high FPS for that game, right? Also, consider that thermal paste—if you're thinking about changing it, a high-quality one can make a difference, but since your GPU is cool, it might not be urgent.

Have you thought about getting a cooling pad? They can help improve airflow and keep temperatures down while gaming.
