I'm currently gaming on a plasma TV at 1080p 60Hz and occasionally on a monitor at 2048x1536 @ 75Hz. I have a decent setup but I'm wondering if I should upgrade my GPU since I experience performance issues with emulators and games on RPCS3, particularly with Gears 3. I'm pretty satisfied with my system overall, so I'm interested in opinions on whether to just upgrade the GPU or consider getting a whole new rig down the line.

You might consider the Intel ARC B580 or RX 9060 XT for a better GPU experience. Your PSU might need an upgrade for the higher-end cards, but it could really enhance your gameplay, especially since you're using emulators.
While your CPU is still decent, sometimes it's worth selling it to fund an upgrade to a newer platform. Surprisingly, you might even break even or come out ahead! The i5-12600KF is a great option that beats older i9s and doesn’t cost much.
The 1660 Super has become quite outdated. I'd suggest upgrading to a more powerful GPU like the RTX 3070 or even the new options like the RX 9060 XT if you’re looking for something exciting. Your CPU isn’t bad either; it just needs a little help from a stronger graphics card to shine.
Your CPU can still handle gaming quite well at 1080p 60fps, so the main bottleneck here is definitely your GPU. If you feel you're not getting the performance you want, especially with the 1660 Super being on the lower end nowadays, an upgrade would be a good move.
Honestly, for most games, the 10850K is still solid. But upgrading the 1660 Super will definitely boost your gaming experience. If you're leaning towards emulators, you might want to prioritize a CPU upgrade since RPCS3 is pretty demanding.

I’ve got a 1000W PSU so I'm good on that front. Just need to find the right Nvidia card since my rig has an R9 380 as a backup.
