I'm in a bit of a dilemma regarding graphics cards. A friend suggested I go for a used 7800 XT since the price is comparable to a new 9060 XT. I'm not very tech-savvy, and I could use some guidance on which option would be better for me.

Be cautious with used GPUs! They could have been pushed hard in crypto mining. It's great if the seller is reputable, but there's always a risk.
I'd say just grab the new 9060 XT and call it a day. You really want the latest generation cards for better performance and support.
Definitely go with the new RX 9060 XT. You won't regret it!
If you're gaming at 1080p, the 9060 XT will do just fine. Even at 1440p, it holds its own in many titles. Plus, buying new means you get a warranty and can choose your specific card.

That's what I'm worried about too. The seller has good ratings, but I still have my doubts.
