Additionally, I'm considering an upgrade to the RX 9060 XT 16GB GPU, which thankfully has reasonable pricing. I'm also aware that I'll need a new cooler. You might want to consider the 5800XT if you find it for a decent price. It offers good gaming performance and productivity capabilities, though it's a bit of a premium model. Just check your cooler situation as it can get hot!
Honestly, a 5700X is a great choice for a final upgrade. It runs cooler and is efficient, plus it should easily handle your gaming and work tasks. I upgraded from a Ryzen 5 3600 to the 5700X and I've been all set till AM6 comes out!
If you're worried about buying from AliExpress, I'd say go for the Ryzen 9 5900XT. It's a solid upgrade and more trustworthy than the risk of a used X3D. Plus, you won't have to deal with customs issues changing your component plans.
