I recently bought a used ASUS 2060 Super graphics card that was listed with a fan issue but claimed there were no performance or temperature problems. However, after using it, I'm seeing some concerning temperatures. During a recent gaming session, my GPU was averaging around 85°C (though it cooled down a bit by the time I took the picture). My CPU, an AMD 7800X3D, is also running hotter than usual, reaching over 75°C when it used to stay around 60-70°C. My setup includes a temporary EVO 212 cooler until I get my AIO cooler for better cooling. Here are some key points for discussion:
1. Do I need to replace the GPU fan since it wobbles but runs fine at high RPM?
2. Should I change the thermal paste and pads on the GPU? I have MX-6 paste but need guidance on thermal pad specs.
3. Is my chassis airflow adequate? Currently, I have two 140mm fans pulling air in from the front and one 120mm fan exhausting from the back. I'm considering further upgrades to my fans.
I haven't noticed performance issues but I'm worried about damaging my components if the temperatures keep rising. Any suggestions or advice would be greatly appreciated!

The temperatures are on the high side but not fatal for your GPU. If you're comfortable with it, consider disassembling the GPU to replace the thermal paste. It's also possible that the thermal pads are starting to degrade, so replacing them could help too. Just make sure to find the right model for your GPU when shopping for pads.

Oh dang, really? Seeing these temps when I have always been under 70, ~75 at most, I was sure this was way too hot.
