Has anyone else been noticing significant delays with incoming emails from external sources? It seems like we're experiencing a lot of delays, with some emails taking between 20 to 30 minutes to arrive, or not coming through at all.

We’re actually seeing similar issues across multiple clients this morning, so it’s not just you.

I didn’t see any reports of issues within our tenant. What email filtering service are you using, and where are you located? We're based in the US.

I haven't noticed any issues on my end. Are you using any email filtering services like Proofpoint or Mimecast? That could be affecting your email flow.

Love how people assume emails are always instantaneous. Remember, they travel through numerous filters and servers. Delays can happen, but if you’re seeing delays like 30+ minutes for important messages like 2FA, that’s concerning.

It sounds like you might be dealing with a mail routing issue. Are you using any services for scanning? If you're self-hosting your email, you might want to restart the transport service. If this is hosted, it’d be a good idea to open a support ticket.

Are you running a hybrid setup? Make sure your on-premise Exchange servers are updated; otherwise, Microsoft can delay or even stop mail delivery. You can temporarily pause this enforcement for 90 days.
